This is a picture of a sun room just completed by Jason Yingling who installed this large format tile on a diagonal installation with a 3/16" grout joint. The job is new construction, thus the baseboard and various trim laying on the floor. We checked this floor prior to installation to make sure the floor was flat enough to receive the larger tiles especially turning them on a diagonal. The floor did prove to be flat enough. The grout featured is a dark color which I think looks good with the darker veins in the tile. This particular grout is epoxy based and though it is not easy to install, it dries to a porosity that is less than the tile itself. What does that mean to the homeowner? Simply that this grout will never become soiled or dirty and can be scrubbed even years from now to it's first day appearance. We have used it now for over 4 years and it really works!
