This particular job engaged us in dressing up a backwall to a bar area. The homeowner picked a 6x6 but we sprinkled in a few decorative tiles and spun the entire installation on diagonal (diamond) to dress it up a bit. After the tile had time to cure (24 hours), Gary is getting ready to apply the grout. Notice the care Gary is taking to tape off the dropcloth to the baseboard to assure that no grout will get on the carpet! All homeowner's should know who is installing their floor covering and how much time will they take to care properly for their home down here at the beach.
Below is a finished shot of this area (except for a final wash down). Of interest is the fact that we removed the wood baseboard at the bottom and ripped down the top profile so we had a square edge to set the bottom (or starter course) of tile.
