The Finishing Touches....

backsplashYesterday we put the finishing touches on a backsplash.  This particular splash was straight forward: 4x4 on diagonal with an irregular edge.  The grout is SpectraLOCK Grout which is a stain proof grout that dries to a porosity of .05% making it less porous than the tile itself.  This means that oil, spaghetti sauce, etc can not absorb into the grout joint.  Jason is watching over his helper Gary, as he touches up a few spots.  gary

Chicago Reclaimed Brick

Waves of Tile

Recently we completed another kitchen backsplash.  This particular tile is a bit on the unique side of things since it is fashioned in the form of a wave or a scroll look.  Our installer Jason was tested, but proved once again to be the better when it came to installing this natural stone. Breaking the Weather
