Well, two crews are getting started on new jobs today so I thought I would talk about the "work station" that is involved in doing a tile job. When we work inside in a new construction setting many times we like to get our wet saw and mixing equipment right up on the same floor as we are working. In this case Jason and Gary are doing a sunroom floor. The room they chose to set up in is the Great Room. Note the grey drop cloth under the wet saw. This dropcloth is waterproof to catch any of the moisture dropped from the saw itself while cutting tiles. We also like to use a score cutter as featured here with Gary, as he attempts to score and break a large tile (18" x 18") on a 45 degree angle. Gary is smiling because he loves his job! (Well, that's my take on it anyway)
Now here is a work station that is set up on the outside deck. The view comes with the territory!
