Well, this is it: our very own blog. I thought it would be fitting to post a picture of one of today's jobs that included "the son" of Macnson.
Josh Jr. is one of the "best of the best" when it comes to talent, passion, and general caring about a job and it's outcome. The smile on Josh's face is because he is so happy to be back after a 3 year sabbatical from the company. He is smiling because he loves what he does and is a proud artisan!
This particular job (as shown in the picture above) is a 3"x6" subway tile in a natural stone (Chairo) with a brushed finish. The entire bathroom receives a wainscot to 53" high with it continuing in the shower to the ceiling. Note the custom shampoo box just below Josh's left arm. This niche is unfinished at this point. The "green" color is a waterproof membrane that Josh has applied to the box making sure that it will never leak during it's use. The small red items in the background are wedges that Josh used to hold each tile in place assuring him of the joint size that he needs to maintain and keep the aesthetic beauty of the job in tact!
