Our Finished Shower

When I last checked in we were in the middle of a fiberglass tub to shower conversion.  This job is now complete as shown below.  Jason had put the finishing touches on this shower including the glass listell which was installed at about shoulder high, just above the shampoo niche.  Of special note is the fact that the glass was thinner than the wall tile so Jason had to take a few extra steps to build the wall area out behind the glass mosaics so they would be nice and flush with the rest of the finished surface.  This first picture shows Jason using a cement based product and a custom made trowel in order to accomplish this task. The space shown in the white "mortar" is where the glass mosaics will be installed once it is cured or dry.

At the end of the job all is well and we have another shower complete.  Another great job by Jason.

Waves of Tile

Recently we completed another kitchen backsplash.  This particular tile is a bit on the unique side of things since it is fashioned in the form of a wave or a scroll look.  Our installer Jason was tested, but proved once again to be the better when it came to installing this natural stone. Breaking the Weather

A Ceramic Area Rug
