It was a busy day today at McAllister & Son. As I checked some of our current jobs today, I found the men in different phases of their current jobs. We get involved in so many various types of jobs that it is certainly never boring.
Our first stop found Jason busy working on a very unusual design in a Formal Powder Room. Here, we can see Jason installing individual pebbles to fill in along the edges of the ceiling. The bulk of this ceiling was installed in 12" x 12'" sheets or Jason would still be up there!

Another shot of the ceiling showing the configuration or curves that the designer requested. "Hats off" to the carpenters for framing this ceiling!

Next, I landed at Josh's job where he and Beers were busy trying to work out a tricky cut in a very hard cutting porcelain tile. Notice Beers holding the end of a shop vac in order to keep the dust down.

While Josh and Beers were busy working out the details on the cutwork, I got a couple of shots of the shower that Josh has been working on. This first shot shows the 12" x 12" porcelain tiles installed with a glass listell at eye height. You can see that Josh placed a custom shampoo niche just under the listell. The next shot shows the ceiling installed in the same 12" x12" only Josh turned this on a diagonal or a diamond installation.

Finally, I thought I would include a shot of Josh's tile "tent" that he uses to keep the water and dust down while working inside the house. I couldn't help but notice how many tools are required to get through a typical job. All these have to be brought up to the 3rd floor and then back down again to go to the next job!
