Glass Tiles on a Bathroom Floor

glass_floorToday Josh was busy installing a bathroom floor in Oceanside Gbleachblondeglasslass/color: Bleach Blonde.  These are 1x1 mosaics with a paper facing to hold the mosaics in a 12" x 12" sheet.  This paper comes off with the right touch and a damp sponge.  Notice in the picture that Josh is cutting the sheets with a knife in order to spread the rows out a small amount.  He is doing this to make a full tile workout to the wall on his left rather than show cut pieces.  Note the full pieces of glass mosaics to his right up against the tub.  This process takes a bit more time but Josh was happy to do so in order to make the job look more custom.  Notice also the laser Josh is using to keep his tiles running square and true as he moves back into the room.

Waves of Tile

Recently we completed another kitchen backsplash.  This particular tile is a bit on the unique side of things since it is fashioned in the form of a wave or a scroll look.  Our installer Jason was tested, but proved once again to be the better when it came to installing this natural stone. Breaking the Weather
